WHAT'S HAPPENING IN 2019?

I'm one of those sickeningly organised people who write things in their diaries (and yes, I still use a good old-fashioned paper version!) months in advance. And the sooner I know about an event then the better – I’m surprised at how late some events are publicised, even a “save the date” would be useful.

One of the reasons for this is that I like to go to book/reading related things so early notification means I can plan around it and double-up on meetings to save on train fares, arrange to meet friends on the same day, maybe even catch an exhibition! The other reason is that I’m involved in organising a lot of events myself and, as far as possible, try to avoid clashes.

So I’ve put together a list of possible events that anyone involved in the school library world might be interested in. I certainly won’t be going to all of them (many are outside my area) and this isn’t a definitive list, there’s probably lots going on that I’ve either forgotten or not known about. But it’s a start … and I hope to update it every couple of months so watch this space …

Meanwhile, get your diaries out (paper or otherwise) and check out these:
